Avinash Harad:
Mihir Sule:Mihir Sule is a marine biologist, based in Mumbai. He holds a masters degree in Oceanography (Zoology) from Ruia college, Mumbai. Currently, he is working on an independent project to study dolphins in Konkan. His main interest is marine mammals and he wishes to pursue a PhD in the same subject. He also keenly interested in photography and has travelled across the country capturing landscapes, nature, flora and fauna and our historical heritage. Mihir has worked with leading NGOs in nature conservation like BNHS, ARRS and WCS on various projects for nature conservation. He has been involved in conducting nature trails and lectures for school and college students to raise awareness about nature conservation. In recent months he started developing a network for involving school and college students in Mumbai to get hands-on experience by assisting researchers on various conservation projects.
Ketaki Jog:Ketki Jog is an independent researcher working on Marine biodiversity of Maharashtra's coast. She has a Masters degree in Animal Physiology (Zoology) from Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai University. She is currently working on an independent project to study marine mammals along the coast of Maharashtra. Her future plans are to continue research on marine mammals in Maharashtra and to develop a community based monitoring network for their protection. Ketki is also passionate about nature photography and has visited many National parks and sanctuaries across India and abroad. She has volunteered with various NGOs and institutions working on wildlife in India, including tigers, lions, snakes and other reptiles, medicinal botany, corals, mollusks, mangroves and fisheries. She is also actively involved in raising public awareness about our natural heritage and its conservation among students of various age groups by conducting lectures, nature trails and involving students in on-going research projects as volunteers to see first hand the process of studying and conserving our flora and fauna.
